The team of 12 players will be announced after completion of the SSGS SpringMeeting at Barassie  on 21st April 2026. Accordingly the team selection will be based largely on the2025 Orders of Merit (SS Scratch OoM for scratch team & SS Handicap OoM forhandicap team) although each team Captain will have the last word on selectionfor his team. One team is a scratch team and theother team will compete off handicap. The 3rd annual match against the Welsh SuperSeniors will be played at Aberdovey GC on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12thMay with a practice round beforehand on Sunday 10th May 2026. The event will be played at Glasgow Golf Club, Killermont and wevery much appreciate their support in hosting the event.

Ian Brotherston, as teamcaptain, however shall have the last word on selection. The Super Seniors Sub-Committee have beensuccessful in arranging 3 team matches, against Wales, UK Senior Golf Association and Spain. From 2024 there will also be a Scratch Matchplay competition in addition tothe usual Handicap Competition. Only 15 of the 40 who played responded and 14of the 22 who qualified by didn’t play responded.
